Feature Pet: Beatrice

December 13, 2017

This stunning girl is BEATRICE. BEATRICE was found as a stray and brought to GTHS to find a loving home! Being found as a stray at only 1 years old, it’s possible this sweet girl has never had a home before, or a family to love her. A holiday note from the Executive Director

December 13, 2017

As the snow begins to fly, it is undeniable that the holiday season is upon us! The year is winding to an end and the shorter days allow for a period of reflection and pause. This time of year fills my heart with a huge amount of pride and love for the GTHS team and the work that we do.

This time of year makes me so grateful to our supportive and generous community.

The shelter was packed and the GTHS little Christmas tree was loaded with life-saving supplies for the cats and dogs. Everyone at the GTHS feels so humbled by the generosity of the Georgian Triangle community.

This little cutie patootie is Louise, a 4 year old Beagle/Pug mix who has been with us since August. Louise is a very happy, outgoing, ball of energy who loves going for hikes or playing fetch. LOUISE is looking for an active home, with no small kids or other dogs, as she’s still working on her manners. Right now, our little Louise is living with her foster mom and family, and she is making tons of progress, but sadly Louise has had very little interest and has been without a home for far too long; she’s longing for a human of her own….
