It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Kathi Reid, Director Emeritus with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
Kathi was a founding Board Member for the Society and was instrumental in creating and developing the now thriving animal welfare organization. In April of 2017, Kathi was awarded a 10 year volunteer pin for her long-time dedication and commitment to the GTHS and in October of 2017,
The Georgian Triangle Humane Society opened its doors AFTER hours on February 1st to welcome members from the Chamber of Commerce.
Guests included pizza from Boston Pizza, tastes from Side Launch Brewing Company and cupcakes in anticipation of National Cupcake Day.
We are looking for a special foster home for a medium to large breed mom and her newborn puppies! If you are a locally based, dog loving home owner who is able to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks of care, then we need your help. For the health and safety of all, we are asking that the home be dog free and ideally pet free with no smaller children and a separate contained space to house the mom and her little ones. Experience rearing puppies (including bottle feeding) or medical experience in general is preferred.
