Arm & Hammer™ steps up for homeless cats in the Georgian Triangle

COLLINGWOOD, ON:  The staff and volunteers at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society can breathe a little easier this Spring due to a new partnership with Arm & Hammer, the creators of Clump & Seal™ Clumping Cat Litter. The organization is delighted to announce that the company has joined as an official GTHS Partner, providing for 100% of the shelter’s litter needs throughout the year. With kitten season in full force, this partnership could not have come at a better time.

“Last year we had over 850 cats and kittens enter our shelter. Purchasing their litter was costing us thousands of dollars annually, causing a strain on our tight resources. We are very proud to have Arm & Hammer as an official partner and we are confident that it will be a mutually beneficial relationship.” States Sonya Reichel, executive director for the Georgian Triangle Humane Society.

The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) operates solely on donations and money raised from fundraising efforts. Community partnerships, with companies like Arm & Hammer, allow the shelter to focus their resources on medication, veterinary bills and supportive care for their numerous residents. These partnerships make a marked impact on their mission.
